Tire for GC

Does any one know what the largest tires I can put on a 2000 GC Sort are.
Currently has P215 60 16 on it wonder if a P225 55 16 would change the ratio
much. Just after a better look than the stock tire. Also is there a larger
size brake disc and caliper for these vehicles? The front rotors are to
small and wear very quickly because of the size and weight of these vans,
not to mention my driving habits :)

TIA

EGR code sets on 92 Colt – not equppied with EGR

1992 Dodge Colt
DTC #43 – EGR problem resets and turns on the Check Engine light every month
or so.  The same code sets every time.  This is Canadian Production and is
not equipped with an EGR system.  Other than the light and code, there is no
symptoms.  The vehicle runs well.   And ideas why this is happening.

Thanks in advance…

Weird goings on — 1997 Intrepid

Went to go to lunch today, started teh car, no power windows, no fan ( so
no AC), and the air bag light wouldn’t go out. Stopped 5 minutes later down
the road, went in, go something to go, came back out, everything works
fine. 4 hours later, come home, get ready to go out for dinner with the
wife and kid, crank up the car, guess what, no AC, now P/W, air bag light
stays on. Turn car off then back on again, all is fine.
Anyone got a clue what could be causing this??

2003 Dodge Caravan HVAC

I just noticed that the heat is not working or come on very intermittently.
I checked all the TSBs on ALLDATA and not one mentions this.  The van gets
up to operating temp mo problem, the AC works but when  switch over to heat
……….. it blows cool air.

Any help would be appreciated?

98 Caravan instrument panel parking break light

Recently my parking break indicator on the instrument panel has been
lighting up on it’s own. It comes and goes. If I take a hard turn to the
left or brake suddenly it goes on, if I accelerate sharply or turn hard to
the right it goes out. It has become more and more persistent over the last
couple of weeks. I don’t hear any noises or feel any indication that the
breaks are doing anything odd. The emergency brake works well. Looking
through a Chilton’s manual it’s hard to isolate that indicator. Looks like
there is a solenoid inline. Anyone have any ideas?

How do you remove the timing belt sprocket from front camshaft, 90 Dodge Spirit?

Trying to replace a leaking oil seal at the front of the camshaft.
I’ve got the timing belt off, and the pulley, and have removed the
bolt that secures the sprocket to the front of the camshaft. The
service manual shows a flat puller being used, the kind where you
secure it to the sprocket using the threaded bolt holes on the
sprocket and turn a bolt throught the middle that pushes the flat
plate (and anything it is bolted to) away from what the center bolt is
pushing against. The sprocket they show has 4 holes, and the photo
shows a puller attached to 2 holes on opposite sides, so the pulling
force is even (straight off of the shaft). The sprocket I am trying to
remove has 5 holes, so none line up directly across from each other.
I’ve tried a harmonic balancer puller, which has two holes directly
across from each other and 2 more at about 45 degrees from one of the
other holes, – 2 holes line up, but since they are not directly across
from each other, the pulling force is not straight off of the shaft,
and all I did was bend the bolts holding the puller on.

Any suggestions?

Neon 2.4L engine swap… good idea??

My buddy has been trying to get me to put a 2.4L stratus or breeze or
whatever engine in his 97 Neon. Has anyone out there done this?? Is it a
nice and simple drop-in or am I gonna be really angry half way through the
project? Some tips and pointers would be greatly apreciated, will trade
for any needed factory Toyota info, anytime.
