ahve 2002 intrepid 2.7 v6 with code showing p-0441 replaced purge control
valve and the engine lightg is still on and code is still in memory. can
anyone suggest where to go from here it would be greatly appreciated!

I bought a used Stratus for my daughter around Christmas. When I
bought it, the check engine light was on, but I found that it was a
vacuum leak before I signed the check. I have tried everything I know
to find the leak, but can’t seem to isolate it.
Does anyone here know where the vacuum line that disappears into the
front near the passenger side headlight terminates on the hidden end?
Has anyone had a problem with vacuum leaks? This one is not bad enough
to cause the engine to run ragged, but I would like to turn that dang
light off, and I am certain that we would pick up a bit of mileage
without the leak.

  My kid’s ’94 Caravan ES has a faint but noticeable knock at idle,
really sounds like the bottom end.

  The oil had been changed recently and I wanted to know what brand was
used but he didn’t know.

  I put some STP in it just to see if it would change the sound, and it
did — but he said that after while it came back.

  Has anyone worked on these enough to have noted if it’s common for
them to sound like that?  It’s faint enough that many people would
probably not even notice it — but definitely there.  Goes away as soon
as RPMs are increased.

  This one has about 150 K miles and has always been serviced regularly
since new at large local dealership, until about a year ago when it
began getting service elsewhere.

I have an 02 caravan with 84K miles, but have never changed the trans
fluid and filter.   It doesnt show any trany codes.  I noticed several
months ago that it would not go into drive after putting in gear.  I
put it back into park and tried it again and it went into gear and
haven had a problem until about 1 month ago it started down shifting
hard from 4th to 3rd gear.  I have read a couple of post and I am not
sure were to start.  I dont think the transmission is going out
because it up shifts perfect and doesnt slip.  I had it looked at (not
by a transmission place) and the mechanic didnt find any codes, but
put an additive in because he thought it may have a sticking valve.  I
have diven it for 2 weeks with the additive and still no change.

Has anyone had this problem and been able to get a good fix.

I’m looking to install cruise on my car.  I am looking for what parts I
will need (technical terms) and if it is something I can do on my own.
When I purchased the car new I was told by the dealer that it could be
installed if I wanted it.  Now that I want it I am told it’s
unavailable.  I have found 2 or 3 different pieces on the internet but
am unsure of what I need.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Found one last week without a problem at the autoparts store.

Went there today and a different guy couldn’t find the part. Same
story at another place.

Can someone lease tell me what the diagnostic codes for the obd mean?  They
are 0404 & 0405.  Maybe then I can figure out what I need to do to get the
problem fixed and what it is going to cost me.
