Neon Transmission Question

I have a 2001 Neon. I have seen both the A413 and the A470 referenced
as being the correct transmission for my car.
I have the 3 spd Auto trans. Please help. Are they interchangeable?
which is the correct one?

94 Ply acclaim 3.0

Hi, the car started losing power while going up a hill on the highway today.
I stopped and was able to restart and continue, but when I got into the
city, it sputtered and stopped while trying to drive there. I eventually had
it towed to a repair place. Any ideas on why this happened all of a sudden?
Any help would be appreciated. Mike

2000 Intrepid ES PO406 code

80k miles, getting this code, PO406, EGR Flow Sensor A High Input.

Assuming the EGR valve is stuck, I have located it, was wondering should
I pull it, clean it up and lube it with some lithium grease, or sohould
I diagnose further. Don’t mind getting another one and installing it
right off the bat if I’m reasonably sure it’s defective.

Any pointers? Appreciate any help!

MAP sensor

I disconnected connector from MAP sensor and checked voltages on it.
Per Chilton manual, pin A is 5v supply, pin B is sensor which goes
back to PCM and pin C is ground.
First, I checked voltage between pins A & B. It is 0.10v (?!?),
between B & C it is 0.11 (?!?) and between A & C it is 0v (this is
OK).
Then, with ignition switch ON and car not running, I read 5.02v
between A & C (OK), 4.12v between B & C (!??! – shouldn’t be 0v?) and
0v between A & B (?!? – shouldn’t it be 5v?).
To repeat, I checked this voltages on connector side when MAP sensor
was removed.
Is it possible that some transistor died in PCM and jumped voltage to
sensor B? I need to clarify this before I purchase PCM.
Thank you.

'99 Grand Caravan Electrical Poltergeist

Anybody heard of this?  My parking lights are suddenly switching on all by
themselves even when the ignition is off and key removed.  I have to tap the
dash at the headlight switch to turn them off, but they won’t stay off.  I
have to disconnect the neg cable on the battery to kill the power.  The fuse
looks great.  Is it the light switch on the dash or another relay under the
dash shorting out?  Any hints would be appreciated

Thanks,

Mark

Starting a 440 on a stand

I got a dodge 440(rebuilt) trying to start it for the
first time on a stand. We done this before but this one
wont start right. the wire to the distributer(points) gets
way to hot,the points are red hot with cap off. the
distributer wire is sent to the negative coil, positive coil
to the battery. It was running for 30 seconds until the
wire started to smoke.
No electronic ignition and balast resister are not present.
We relaced the points and the distributer wire. Same ,
getting to hot

Thoughts about gas….

Wow! gas prices are rediculously expensive.  Nowadays you have to
think twice before going out. Why? well not because you don’t know
where you’re heading, but because of the gas price.  You want to make
sure that you have enough for the REAL needs. But come on, we
shouldn’t be doing this.  You would agree with me.  We should all do
something to make things run better and smoother, after all WE are the
ones that can make a difference.  Hopefully one day gas prices will go
down enough to the point where we won’t worry about it like we do
now.  There’s got to be improvement with gas and everything related to
fuel

I found this interesting place with beneficial tips for that have
helped me, I thought I’d share it with everybody.

6.7L Diesel

Does anyone have one of the new 6.7 L diesels? I have a 2007, 2500 crew cab
with this engine and it has been in and out of the shop 17 times over the
last 12 months and they still cannot get it right. The problem per the
mechanic has been the new emissions standards causing all the problem. Has
anyone else out there had these same nuisance issues?

Thanks
Eddie Shuman
