For the discussion of Dodge cars

95 grand caravan with fault code 32

The above-mentioned vehicle has 3.3L engine and recently rolled over to
200k.  The engine runs great, but occassionally the "check engine"
light comes on when driving more than a few miles around town.  When
driving on the highway, it comes on at about 10 miles out and does a
little sputtering now and then and runs a little rough.

Can anyone tell me what this might be?  I’d like to pick your brains
and get some opinions here, before I take it into the shop.

Thanks in advance,
Brigitte

Dodge Grand Caravan

Just bought a Caravan (3.8L) with the tow package (minus hitch) installed.
Are there any peculiarities that I should be aware of before getting a hitch
installed?  I only expect to ever tow a pop-up camper or utulity trailer.

Thanks for any input.

97 Neon question

Hi all,
Now that the winter months are here and the days are cooler (at least up
here), my wife uses the heater in her Neon more frequently.
She mentioned that it takes a very long time to warm up (cabin temperature)
and that it isn’t nearly as warm as it used to get.
I thought maybe the coolant level was done, so I went to check.
After topping it off (maybe a 1/2 cup), I saw that it was full of a greyish,
slimey, almost foamy liquid, not the typical bright green of coolant.
Any idea on this? Is oil getting in?
We had the notorious head gasket seals fixed about 3 years ago, and it’s not
leaving a puddle on the driveway, nor is it losing a significant amount
between "dipstick checks"

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mac

Please help still having a problem with the e -brake not staying ingaged.
If I mess with the cable under the car i can get it to stay ingaged one
time and then not again until the next time I mess with it. I can’t find a
way to adjust the cable. Is there a way to do a manual adjust on the
cables?  Please HELP!!!!!!!!

1994 Dodge Dakota 3.9 V6- Idle and gas MPG

I bought this Dakota from a dealer that was about to wholesale it to
get it off his lot. In general the vehicle is in pretty fair shape,
interior and exterior are ok with no rust or anything other than minor
dings. To date the following things have been done to the 3.9 V6
engine and automatic tranny. Replaced head gaskets and intake gasket,
oil pump and pick up tube, water pump, fuel pump, crank was turned and
new bearings installed just prior to my buying it,complete overhaul of
the transmission just completed. The A/C unit has been gone thru with
new compressor. My complaint: The truck seems determined to idle
poorly. I have cleaned, adjusted, and tried all of the normal or
readily known fixes. Idle motor on the back of the Throttle body is
the next component of choice to replace. Other than a poor idle, the
truck runs fine. The second part of my complaint, the fuel mileage is
simply terrible. So far my best has been 16 mpg. Granted, I am not ASE
certified yet (working on it) but there seems like there should be a
few simple things to up that mileage. Any thoughts or suggestions
welcome. Thanks in advance

tranmission

Anyone know about this code P0519. I just had my transmission repaired and
it broke on the way home. I get these codes. p0123, p0108. p0519, p0700,
p0732, p0734, and p0736. Any ideas what causing these codes. The car keeps
idling too low and keeps dying. And now the transmission won’t shift pass
1st gear and no reverse. The car is a 2002 Intrepid R/T.

2000 Dodge Intrepid rattling sound at idle

Hi.  Thanks in advance for reading this. I’m new here and hoping someone
might be able to help me solve a problem I am having with my 00 Dodge
Intrepid.  The car runs great, but when I start it up and when I let it sit
and idle, I get this loud rattling sound almost like the sound a diesel
engine makes at idle.  I swear something has to be rubbing somewhere, but I
can’t find the problem. Any suggestions?

a/c

Hi. I drive a 1998 dodge stratus. Changed the A/C compressor and
recharged the system, but I discovered today that the a/c only works at
full power, which means it only works at the fourth speed. What can a I
do to fix it? Any suggestion will be appreciated

2001 Grand Caravan 3.8 Water Pump Failure

Any history on water pumps for 2001 GCs? Only 75k miles. Was sitting in
driving and coolant started spraying out from the side of the engine.

TIA
Scott
